Companies in Brazil face diverse challenges. Activating our economy hinges, to a large extent, on evolving our market organizations. With the aim of increasing business performance, FIA – Fundação Instituto de Administração has created a project designed to enhance the success of these organizations: the Rede Evolue.

According to Prof. Dr. João Maurício, one of the project's founders, to achieve business evolution, we need to overcome five obstacles: lack of planning and monitoring, training issues, investment in leadership, isolation, and information management.

Let's briefly look at each of these obstacles:

  1. PLANNING AND MONITORING

    Achieve planning and monitoring of the Organizational strategy and strategic plans it is constantly identified as a difficulty. Within the organization, it is necessary to plan in a systematic and organized manner, as well as constantly monitor the implementation of these plans in order to correct what goes off track.

  2. TRAINING

    The training of the company's talents has two very closely linked aspects: Firstly, there is the training itself, so that activities are carried out as desired. Secondly, there is the motivation and retention of talents, who use training as a resource for the completion of projects that include professional development two collaborators.

  3. Leadership

    It is important to note that the topic of leadership is not limited to presidents and directors, but also to middle managers, which according to João Maurício, is where the greatest challenges lie. “There is a need to support these managers so that they can deal with the new generations of employees, who do not always align with the organizational culture,” he states.

  4. INSULATION

    The issue of isolation is extremely relevant. There are several studies that fully prove that companies that are more engaged in networks achieve higher levels of Process innovation, technological and product innovation. This cannot be achieved in isolation. Knowing how to articulate the company within business networks is a key issue.

  5. Information Management

    Another point to consider is information and knowledge management Within the organization. Today, we live in a world where information is disseminated in a disorganized manner. We are bombarded with information from various sources. However, the information is not stored appropriately. In companies, data is stored on individual employee desktops, laptops, or in distinct systems, and when information is needed, it cannot be found. Therefore, it is necessary to organize this information within the company, eliminate noise, and prevent the indiscriminate dissemination of emails.

Did you identify with these challenges? The Evolue Network then proposes business development through various actions. They are: Elaboration of the company's Strategic Plan, Strategic Management Software Installation, Monthly Results Monitoring, Employee Training, Networking, Roundtables for CEOs, Knowledge Management with specific software, and MBAs for executives.

One of the software used in the program is Strategy Management da Stratec. The partnership between Stratec and FIA arose from the need to find software that would enable the monitoring of the performance execution of medium-sized companies, especially a tool that would allow for remote monitoring. After surveying the market, the two professors who conceived the project, Joao Mauricio and Edson Barbero, contacted Stratec, which, due to its existing strategic alliance policy, quickly formed the partnership. Therefore, Stratec offers the software to support the companies in the Evolue Network during the project, aiming Your performance improvement.
