Maintaining high productivity is not an easy task in any work environment, especially when the team is working towards results.

The motivation For collaborators in the workplace, it functions as a form of encouragement, boosting their self-esteem, making them feel more confident, and increasing productivity. Motivational actions inspire professionals to change both their thinking and behavior. For them, this can be associated with the goal of improving job performance.

Establish objectives and goals

The first step to motivating your team is to clearly establish objectives, after all, how can you demand results from someone who doesn't know exactly what their goals are? The ideal approach is to hold a well-founded initial meeting where objectives are presented directly and objectively, aiming for a comprehensive understanding of the overall scenario. Each employee and team should be thoroughly informed of what is expected of them, leaving no room for doubts, confusion, or misunderstandings, thus aiding them in the pursuit of the established results.

Without investing in people management strategies, companies lose competitiveness and end up losing their best talent. The human factor is essential for a company's survival and growth and must be earned through good working conditions, good leadership, and a clear purpose.

Create opportunities for growth within the company and encourage the team to strive for results.

Giving chances for growth is also very important for increasing productivity and motivating the team to pursue results, as no one gives their best if they don't feel there's an opportunity to advance in their role or salary in the future. A career plan and stability with the company are often even more desired than excessive compensation, and this is something every manager can and should offer.

The possibility of professional advancement within the company is a major motivating factor for employees, and this drives them to pursue results. While money may speak louder in some cases, there's also the psychological factor of feeling trusted and respected in the workplace. When you offer genuine growth opportunities to your employees, they stop seeing the business as just a temporary thing and instead see a real chance to establish a plan for their own careers.

Recognition is good and everyone likes it

Recognition can come from leadership feedback, internal actions, or promotions. For this purpose, internal marketing initiatives and corporate TV can be great allies.

What is absolutely critical is that the organization celebrates success. Those who achieve need to be recognized. Their behaviors and results need to be reinforced and valued! Always give positive feedback for those responsible for success and who make the strategy work.

Propose challenges and rewards; this helps in the pursuit of results

Another way to encourage your employees is to offer small daily challenges: for example, finding a solution to an old business problem or meeting a proposed goal. Whoever solves one of these challenges receives a simple prize, such as a gift card or a product from the company itself. Conduct short activities, lasting no more than a month, and the team will strive to meet the proposed challenge.

The phrase “done is better than perfect” is a maxim that perfectionist entrepreneurs should absorb for their future. It's not about eliminating planning, quite the contrary: it's about understanding that you need to give your best every day, deliver, and know that improvement comes with time.

Don't aim for the unattainable. Delivering products or services opens new doors and also teaches you how to manage daily pressure.
