The idea is enhance learning and simplify seemingly complex problems, as understanding is facilitated through division into branches and subpoints.

For those who need to plan their project management, The mind map proves to be a very effective tool, as it facilitates visual organization that shows a broad overview of the project, outlining its entire structure and providing visualization of the most individual characteristics.

In addition, when creating a Mind map, it's possible to insert notes during a meeting and add links, charts, and files related to the central topic.

What are the advantages of using it?

We know that procrastination is one of the main culprits for delays in Task completion, So, the first major advantage of mind mapping is that it helps in setting priorities. This is because the technique causes the user to start from a central task and make others secondary, maintaining focus and avoiding wasted time on what is less relevant.

In addition, we can list the following as other advantages of mind maps:

reduce planning time;

favor creativity, concentration, and memorization;

simplify understanding on various topics;

allow important concepts to be filtered;

minimize the stress caused by the accumulation of disorganized information.

How to make a mind map?

If the intention is to reduce time spent on planning and boost performance in task execution, it's important to keep in mind some steps to follow for creating a mind map. To make it easier, we've listed the main ones:

· In the beginning, it is essential to define the central idea or the main topic to be discussed. Here, the ideal is to opt for simplicity and choose one or two words;

- Then, create subtopics or secondary branches with ideas related to the central theme. These can be lists of activities or questions to be answered throughout the project's development;

After that, it's time to add important information to the previous items, such as definitions, concepts, and deadlines;

Finally, add symbols, charts, images, photos, and all possible material relating them to the process steps.

The idea is for the map to be complete and easy to visualize, so it's interesting to use different colors for each topic, separating the various areas. Another tip is to let ideas flow freely, adding everything that seems relevant, even if adjustments are needed later and some things are removed.

By the way, it could be very interesting to use a Mind map during a brainstorming session team. The tool facilitates idea management, as it allows for a connection between topics, and the graphical format makes it easy for participants to understand.
