Discover what's new in the new version of the Strategic Management module and learn how to optimize its use on a daily basis.
The Strategic Management module is constantly evolving and brings more new features in its latest version: 5.09. There are several structural changes and details that make a difference in users' daily lives. Here we present the most significant ones.
From now on, users will no longer have difficulty finding program attachments, as an attachment search tracking menu has been added. This is a data library where any document attached to the system can be searched. This optimizes user time and makes the tool's interface even more user-friendly.
Also, there is a new dashboard editor that allows the user to edit in the same format as the strategic map editor. “The dashboard is something customizable by the client. They assemble it in the way they deem best for the company, and with the new editor, they can insert a background image, logos, and many other things based on the same criteria as the editor that already existed for the strategic map,” explains Neidson Silva, Stratec's support and homologation coordinator.
In this version, it is still possible to create more than one strategic map per area or corporate. The strategic map serves as an instrument that provides employees with a clear view of how their work is linked to the organization's objectives, ensuring coordinated work towards achieving those objectives. In summary, the main purpose of the strategic map is to describe, dynamically, how the organization will create value over time. This can be done generally, encompassing the entire company, or at a lower level, specified by area.
Another change will be seen in the comparison chart, where the option to create it in a pie chart format has been added. “This way, the user has another option for viewing metrics,” states Neidson.
Many of the changes are made based on feedback from Stratec's clients and partners during the company's periodic evaluations. For example, when implementing the system in the Labor Courts (Tribunais do Trabalho), managers felt the need to create a new user for the tool with limited permissions. Consequently, Stratec has added the “collaborator” profile in this new version, which allows access to all program information but prevents any editing, providing “read-only” access.
Besides these, other small changes to the system will be felt by users, in order to facilitate managers' tracking of metrics and strategies. If you have any suggestions, do not hesitate to contact the Stratec support team, which always aims to be attentive to its clients' needs and provide the best service.
