The arrival of September is a good time for your company to start planning next year's budget. The tip appears in a report published on the Exame portal. Com. To suggest the best way to execute this budget planning, the article interviewed the business consultant Márcio Iavelberg, finance specialist.

The first piece of advice is to divide budget planning into three basic areas: HR, Industrial and IT. Based on the details of each sector, the values are grouped into the financial plan, which is the essence of budget planning. In this final version, according to the consultant's guidance mentioned in the report, the monthly goals should also appear, to facilitate visualization and control of actions.

The questions

Márcio Iavelberg proposes the following questions to start planning in the three areas that he considers fundamental (as published on Exame.Com):

HR Plan: What needs to be done to train the company's employees? How many and what resources will we have to rely on? At some point will we have to hire more people or work overtime? Or will we increase a shift? How much will each of these alternatives cost? How to retain the best talent? How much will it cost?

Industrial/Stock Plan: Do I have production capacity? If necessary, can I increase it? What is the ideal size of my stock? Can I increase the payment deadline to my suppliers? What impact will this have on my cash flow? What about the need for working capital?

IT Plan: How is the company's technology park? Will new purchases of computers, accessories and servers be necessary? What is the target for spending on printing? What software should I purchase?
