Meddle Finance and Business was the sponsor of the recent “Café da Manhã” edition of the Brazilian Association of Information Technology Companies of Rio de Janeiro (Assespro/RJ). The event is held monthly by the entity and, in the August edition, had the theme: “The importance of long-term planning for companies – the Petrobrás case”.
Petrobrás is a client of Meddle, a business consultancy firm operating nationwide and a Stratec partner. Lauro Valdir de Souza, manager of the strategy and performance area at Petrobrás, presented the solutions provided by Meddle's work. He spoke about the company's long-term planning process, focusing on its importance for strategic management. The contribution of information technology to the preparation and monitoring of planning was also addressed in the executive's presentation.
The executive director of Meddle Finance and Business took the opportunity to announce the emergence of “Acies – Lucidez Estratégica”, a brand linked to the company. According to Antônio Jairo dos Santos, consultancy activities linked to Corporate Governance will be aggregated by Acies. The hardware and software segment for access control will continue to make up Meddle's operations.
