The Stratec Corporate Governance suite's Strategic Management Module software has reached version 5.08 with several new features, totaling forty improvements for this new version.
Today, an average of 120,000 people are impacted in their companies by the use of the strategic management module, which is Stratec's main product.
One of the most essential changes in the version was made due to the needs of one of Stratec's clients, Boa Vista Serviços, who identified an opportunity to more practically expose the “deviations” between the values foreseen by strategic planning and those that were actually achieved.
A strategic objective depends on several other outcome indicators, thus a target is created for each of these indicators. The deviation chart serves to demonstrate the variations, the deviations between the values actually achieved in relation to the targets, thus quickly visualizing the main causes of deviations so that managers can assign responsibilities.
José Luiz, a consultant at Stratec, clarifies: “These charts are extremely necessary and useful because they conclusively and clearly demonstrate the reasons for the variations that have occurred. Analyzing and making a decision becomes much easier.”
Among the many changes made, others that are important to highlight are:
1 – Improvement to the pending items tab, and along with it, the monitoring reports screen. This modification makes it easier for management to know which indicator should have a report filled out and which has not yet been done, so they can follow up with the person responsible.
2 - The creation of a tab on the home screen for displaying the results matrix, an optional display that can be configured in the layout settings. The modification allows for the selection of fields to be displayed in the matrix, their order of display, as well as including the responsible person field and the option to display only the traffic lights.
3 – Improvement that makes it possible to attach documents to meeting minutes. This means that if the minutes were created in a separate document, it will be sufficient to attach them, and in cases where the minutes require the signature of all participants, they can be digitized and attached.
These changes were made based on the needs that arose from Stratec's ongoing monitoring of its clients, always seeking to provide the best service and evolve its products, reformulating its systems to better meet its users' needs.
