The first stage of the Strategic Management Lecture Series, organized by Stratec during the second half of 2011, concluded with a positive evaluation from both the organization and its participants. Vitória, Recife, Curitiba, Porto Alegre, and Belo Horizonte were the capitals that hosted the first stage of the series, which was specifically geared towards the public sector.
In addition to attending lectures by specialized consultants on the importance of strategic management, public managers were also able to learn about the benefits of GE (Strategic Management), software developed by Stratec for monitoring strategic planning actions.
As recalled by Stratec's CEO, Guilherme Barbassa, and the company's partnership manager, Luciana Lima, one of the objectives in working with public sector events was precisely to meet a growing demand for results observed in the sector. Furthermore, Stratec also aimed to publicize the price registration minutes obtained after a federal bidding process, which facilitates public agencies' acquisition of GE.
The Stratec Partnerships Manager points to the generation of business opportunities, active market engagement, and strengthening partnerships with consultants across different states as the main positive outcomes of the event cycle. “We understand that the Lecture Series has excellently fulfilled its objective. The Stratec name and the solutions offered are certainly more widely known today. We are now in a post-event phase, developing commercial processes with the good business opportunities that have emerged,” adds Luciana Lima.
As a consequence of the good results from this first stage, Luciana reveals new developments for 2012, when new events are already planned. According to Stratec's partnership manager, the positive outcome of these first five lectures served as motivation to assemble a specialized and professional team, which will focus on market mapping, organizing the Cycle, and post-event follow-up during the second stage.
New meeting formats are also being studied, such as thematic coffee sessions and business lunches or dinners, for example. “We are considering these new models and even serving other sectors that also need the GE, always focusing on different audiences in a personalized way,” mentions the Stratec partnership manager. The 2012 agenda, according to Luciana Lima, should begin by serving some capitals in the North and Northeast regions, where good receptivity was observed during this year's stage.
