First-instance labor courts can now access integrated administrative and judicial information from the Labor Justice system through Sigest (Stratec's Strategic Management software). Since the end of November, magistrates and court directors have received access to Sigest, along with step-by-step instructions for viewing their results. This has enabled a clearer visualization of data, aiding in more effective management of each court's performance.
The TRT of the 10th Region is the first TRT with data integration to Sigest. “Managers can view the performance of their numbers graphically, greatly facilitating the monitoring and management of unit indicators, and consequently, decision-making,” commented the coordinator of Strategic Management, Claudio Oliveira.
The data is imported directly from E-gestão into Sigest, providing updated information on judicial activity, initially at the first instance, to managers. This includes case processing at various stages, appeals and petitions filed, the number of hearings held, amounts paid, tax and fee collections, and finally, the average timeframes for all processes, such as the time between the sentence and the start of the action.
According to Oliveira, the development of improvements and the implementation of E-gestão are the responsibility of a National Management Committee, composed of first and second-degree judges and technical advisors from the judicial, information technology, and statistics areas, under the coordination of the Corregedoria-Geral da Justiça do Trabalho. “With the integration of Sigest into E-gestão, magistrates and court directors can dynamically monitor performance by analyzing results and verifying any inconsistent information, as each of the 32 courts of TRT10 can be monitored, totaling 352 control panels consisting of various graphical information for monitoring and managing judicial units,” he celebrates.
Cláudio also emphasizes that with the implementation of the strategy deployment at the Regional Labor Court of the 10th Region, the Labor Justice is initiating a process of fostering a culture of results-based management aligned with the institutional strategic plan. “With the implementation of the contribution maps of the units in Sigest for monitoring the management plan, indicators, and action plans generated by each unit, associated with the E-gestão indicators available in the Dashboard, we believe that managers and judges will have tools to monitor their unit's performance,” he states.
Guilherme Barbassa, director of Stratec, is proud to be part of the evolutionary process of Labor Justice. “We consider this step that TRT 10 is taking extremely important because the results-oriented management model is getting closer and closer to the judges, which is where the result will effectively appear,” he comments. According to Barbassa, this is one of the critical steps needed for effectiveness and efficiency in Brazil's justice system. “This innovative initiative within Labor Justice, undertaken by TRT 10, is an example to be followed by other Labor Courts and also by courts in other judicial spheres,” states the director.
