Maintaining high competitiveness is a continuous training, where leaders and employees are constantly seeking improvement, that is, the construction of a high-performance culture. A culture that involves a fundamental tripod for the success of the organization: strategy, leadership, and commitment.

According to KPMG's High-Performance Culture research, 89% of executives are willing to invest in organizational transformations to achieve this level of excellence. However, 59% of leaders do not recognize the importance of organizational culture in achieving business results.

Bridging the gap between the need for and understanding of the importance of a results-oriented organizational culture is only possible if everyone is willing to change and build a high-performance culture together. But how can you implement it in your company?

Have clear goals

Paradigm shifts in the business environment require a very assertive stance from top management, with a very clear understanding that it will be necessary to transform policies, processes, and organizational structures for the sake of a high-performance culture.

For each change, an objective will be needed, such as increased productivity, cost reduction, employee re-education in process execution, development of best practices, among others.

Empower leaders

The development of representative and active leaders within the company is one of the pillars that support a high-performance culture. Therefore, it is essential that you train and delegate responsibilities to managers so that they can lead the necessary changes to improve their teams' performance.

One of the responsibilities of leadership is to promote a A synergistic environment that is conducive to good employee performance., which requires the development of a relationship of trust between leaders and those they lead. This relationship will only be strengthened if everyone realizes the value of this relationship and how beneficial it can be for everyone.

Strengthen communication

Communication is the “glue” that keeps an organizational culture strong, unique, and unbreakable. Therefore, to develop a high-performance culture in your company, you need to make it one of the main strategies for relationships and dissemination of organizational values.

More than having internal newsletters and bulletin boards, have moments of personal contact where people can express their doubts and feelings and have their ideas considered by others. Create a culture of constant feedback, where everyone feels comfortable dialoguing with their leaders and building a more egalitarian environment.

Rate your team

For people to be truly involved and committed to implementing a high-performance culture, they need to understand the importance of this cultural change and how to achieve it.

To do so, you must promote Training and development that awakens that sense of improvement in people, that leads them to always think about how the company can improve and gain competitiveness.

Obviously, it's not a lesson that applies overnight, but over time, you will consistently train your team to become a true high-performance team.

Set goals

When challenges are presented to a team and they are ready to face them, goals serve as a driving force for performance to increase. But remember that goals must be achievable, realistic, and distributed to everyone within the organization.

Performing efficient strategy deployment Among the hierarchical levels, it is an intelligent way to involve everyone and generate commitment, another of the pillars of a high-performance culture. Verifying that managers and directors are also held accountable for results increases employee loyalty and makes them allies of the organization in the pursuit of better market performance.
