The Publix Institute, Stratec's partner in the development of MatricialNet, a strategic planning monitoring tool aimed at the public sector, was present at an international event recently held in Asunción, capital of Paraguay.
During the XVI Congress of the Centro Lationamericano de Administración para el Desarrollo (CLAD), one of the highlights was the work of professor and director of Publix, Humberto Falcão Martins. Martins' paper – called “Limitations to the flexibility of cooperation entities partnered with public authorities” – was presented in the panel “Flexibilization in public management: the international Brazilian experience”.
The panel was coordinated by Regina Silvia Pacheco, from EASP and FGV, and had the participation of Renata Maria Paes Vilhena, Secretary of Planning and Management of the Government of Minas Gerais. The presence of Caio Marini, also a professor and director of the Publix Institute, was another notable event at the Congress in the Paraguayan capital. He was coordinator of one of the panels scheduled for the event.
The Publix Institute currently has a portfolio of more than 100 clients in the public sector and works to integrate results management into the conduct of public policies. The production of knowledge is one of the entity’s focus areas. 16 books and more than 150 articles have already been published by the institute.
