Meeting calendar: Stratec always seeks to be in touch with the needs of its software users to detect opportunities for improvement and constantly improve its products.

Stratec does not limit itself to regional boundaries and operates in all four corners of Brazil. Get to know the company's partners and how they work together With representatives in Belo Horizonte, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo and Brasília, Stratec doesn't limit itself to these markets to offer its products. Working in partnership with other companies, it has expanded its operations to Rio Grande do Sul and Recife, and has recently begun expanding its work to Colombia and Canada. Guilherme Barbassa, Stratec's director, explains that the company was born within a consultancy company to meet the demands of the clients it served. "Stratec's partners had always worked in consultancy and with management methodologies in large companies, until they set up their own consultancy company, which began to grow. As it grew, clients began to demand corporate software that would help systematize the methodologies we used in our consultancy," he says. Barbassa recalls that in 2005 they searched the market for software that they could recommend to their clients, but found nothing that met what they considered to be a good strategic management practice and that was reasonably priced. "So we started developing our own software," he explains. From 2007 onwards, the partners realized that there was a great demand for management software and began to form a distribution network for their product. "We began to have contact with other consulting companies and realized that in order to have national distribution, we had to separate the consulting and software businesses. Separately, we began to create national capillarity through partnerships with other consulting companies," Barbassa recalls. Today, Stratec has around 30 active partners throughout the country. One of these partners is Primvs Inter Pares, a consultancy company from Espírito Santo which acts as a sales channel for the Gestão Estratégica software. "As we don't have a management product, the software has filled this gap. We only develop consultancy and training in-house and offer Stratec's IT solution alongside our services," says Ricardo Rezende de Oliveira, a partner at Primvs. According to Oliveira, Stratec's model is very decentralized, meaning that although the company doesn't have its headquarters in Espirito Santo, projects can easily be distributed to other locations. GrowUp, based in Rio Grande do Sul, is another company that has partnered with Stratec. The company has been operating in the consultancy market for 16 years, focusing on strategic management. Renan Chagas, director of GrowUp, explains why Stratec's Strategic Management software has been essential in expanding their business. "Our clients found it difficult to implement strategic management and control indicators. That's why we felt we needed a tool to help with implementation and control. We did a lot of research on the market and during this search we came across Stratec, which offered the most cost-effective product and was easy to include. It had to be a tool that was easy to use, otherwise it would generate resistance from users, and it couldn't be too expensive," he says. GrowUp has already been a Stratec partner for five years and, despite being physically distant, Chagas says he has had no difficulty supporting the program. According to him, due to the ease of the tool, GrowUp's own employees are able to provide support for users, with only second-level problems being solved by Stratec. "It's a great partnership for us," says Chagas. Another example is the partnership with Venki Tecnologia, a company from São Paulo. Operating since 2002, Venki serves medium and large clients with a focus on gaining organizational efficiency and productivity, offering innovative systems in the area of information technology. Stratec's partner works with Supravizio software, a system that makes it possible to model, automate and manage business processes based on the concept of Business Process Management. In the North, an example of the work done with partners was the implementation of the Gestão Estratégica software at Brascabos, an electrical cable manufacturer with units in Rio Claro and Manaus. 5A, a partner consultancy firm, completed its strategic planning consultancy work and then Stratec, through its consultants, began work on installing the software to systematize this planning in the company. Proof that Stratec's Strategic Management system can be applied anywhere is the implementation of the software in all the Labor Courts in Brazil. The software was adopted by the Labor Courts after a bidding process. In an interview with Stratec, Cláudio Oliveira, strategic management advisor to the Superior Council of Labor Justice (CSJT), explained how the action around strategic planning involved all the country's Labor Courts and how it has been developed since 2009. According to him, this procedure is part of the implementation of a new public management culture, with transparency and a focus on results. For a company to become a Stratec partner, there must be conceptual alignment between the consultancy firm and the software, Barbassa warns. "We strive to bring the methodology closer to the software. And the partner's values have to reflect Stratec's values, because most of the time, the software will be delivered to the end customer by the partner, so there has to be this alignment of values," he points out. The director adds that Brazil will not be a limit for Stratec's business. According to Barbassa, 2013 will be the year of internationalization. The company already operates commercially in Canada and Colombia. "We're doing an initial test in these countries in order to adjust and continue the company's internationalization process," he says.
