Platform Stratec is starting to hold, in several states across the country, the Strategic Management Lecture Cycle. The main objective of the event is to show the public sector the functionalities of the “Strategic Management” software in results-oriented management. The first edition takes place on October 5th, in Vitória, capital of Espírito Santo. The capital of Pernambuco, Recife, also has the event scheduled for October 18th.
As Stratec's executive director, Guilherme Barbassa, explains, the stimulus for holding the events in several Brazilian cities was the company's achievement of the price registration minutes granted by Cindacta III. The instrument is valid for one year and facilitates the acquisition of “Strategic Management” by public bodies during this period, with the exemption of new tenders.
“We know that the public sector is increasingly focused on results and we offer an important tool to help this process. So, we decided to be active and show our software so that public managers can meet a need they have already observed or will soon realize”, says Guilherme Barbassa. He reinforces that the initial objective is to implement “Strategic Management” in 150 public bodies during the year in which the price registration minutes are in force.
Stratec's partnership manager, Luciana Lima, responsible for organizing the Strategic Management Lecture Cycle, mentions that seven other states will also be covered on this year's agenda. After these two initial editions, the lecture cycle is planned to be held in Paraná, Rio Grande do Sul, Pará, Minas Gerais, Bahia, Mato Grosso and Goiás.
Luciana states that the first step in the events project was to map the public sector market in each state. “We discovered who the public managers are directly involved with strategic management and they are the ones being invited to learn about the software. We took this action to directly reach the public who may be interested in our solution and make the decision to purchase the tool, adhering to the minutes”, mentions the Stratec partnerships manager.
The dynamics of the Lecture Cycle – which in each state has the support of local Stratec partners – has three fundamental moments. In the first, there is a lecture that focuses on results-oriented management; Then there is a presentation of the software. To conclude the event, a case study is presented that addresses the benefits of using “Strategic Management” in a concrete application at a Stratec client.
“We are taking care to choose, together with our partners, good locations to hold the lectures in each state. Support material was also developed which, together with the event, will allow public managers to learn more about the benefits of the solution”, concludes Luciana.
