Registration is now open for “Fomenta Nacional 2011”, which takes place on November 23rd and 24th in São Paulo. The event is a partnership between the Federal Government and SEBRAE and its fundamental objectives are to encourage the participation of micro and small companies in Brazilian public purchases and to clarify how the processes of acquiring goods and services from large public buyers occur.
The program includes thematic seminars, training workshops, opportunity panels and business rounds that will allow the prospecting of services in different areas. Participation in “Fomenta Nacional” is free and the main audiences involved are small business owners and public managers. A great opportunity to learn about the mechanisms of public procurement in Brazil and open up good business opportunities.
The event takes place at the WTC Convention Center, in the Brooklin Novo neighborhood, in the capital of São Paulo. Registration can be done via the official website – http://www.fomentasp.com.br/ – where you can also find information about accommodation and travel, in addition to the detailed schedule. The website also guides small business owners and public managers who prefer to join the missions organized by SEBRAE state centers.
