Stratec is not limited to regional borders and operates in the four corners of Brazil. Get to know the company's partners and how they work together
With representatives in Belo Horizonte, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo and Brasília, Stratec is not limited to these markets to offer its products. Working in partnership with other companies, it expands its action through Rio Grande do Sul until reaching Recife, and recently began expanding its work to Colombia and Canada.
Guilherme Barbassa, director of Stratec, explains that the company was born within a consultancy company to meet the demands of the clients for which it provided services. “Stratec's partners have always worked in consultancy and with management methodologies in large companies, until they set up their own consultancy company that began to grow. In this growth, clients began to demand corporate software that would help systematize the methodologies we used in consultancy,” he says. Barbassa recalls that in 2005 they searched the market for software that they could recommend to their clients, but they did not find anything that met what they considered to be good strategic management practice and that had a reasonable price. “So we started developing our own software,” he explains.
From 2007 onwards, the partners realized that there was a great demand for management software and began to form a distribution network for their product. “We started to have contact with other consulting companies and realized that in order to have national distribution, we had to separate the consulting and software businesses. Separately, we began to create national capillarity through partnerships with other consultancy companies”, recalls Barbassa. Today Stratec has approximately 30 active partners spread across the country.
One of the partners is Primvs Inter Pares, a consulting company from Espírito Santo that works as a sales channel for Strategic Management software. “As we do not have a management product, the software filled this gap. We only develop consultancy and training internally and offer Stratec's IT solution along with our services”, reveals Ricardo Rezende de Oliveira, partner at Primvs. According to Oliveira, Stratec's model is very decentralized, that is, despite the company not having headquarters in Espirito Santo, projects can be easily distributed to other locations.
GrowUp, based in Rio Grande do Sul, is another company that has a partnership with Stratec. The company has been operating in the consultancy market for 16 years, focused on strategic management. Renan Chagas, director of GrowUp, explains why Stratec's Strategic Management software was essential in expanding his business. “Our clients had difficulty implementing strategic management and controlling indicators. Therefore, we felt the need for a tool that would help with this implementation and control. We did a lot of research on the market and during this search we came across Stratec, which presented the best cost-benefit product, with ease of inclusion. It had to be an easy-to-use tool, otherwise it would generate resistance from users, in addition to not being very expensive,” he says. GrowUp has been a partner with Stratec for five years and even though they are physically distant, Chagas says he has no difficulty supporting the program. According to him, due to the ease of the tool, GrowUp's own employees are able to provide support to users, only second-level problems are resolved by Stratec. “For us, it’s a great partnership”, praises Chagas.
Another example is the partnership with Venki Tecnologia, a company from São Paulo. Operating since 2002, Venki serves medium and large clients with a focus on gaining efficiency and organizational productivity, offering innovative systems in the area of information technology. Stratec Partner works with the Supravizio software, a system that allows you to model, automate and manage business processes based on the concept of Business Process Management.
In the North region, an example of work with partners was the implementation of the Strategic Management software at the company Brascabos, an electrical cable industry with units in Rio Claro and Manaus. 5A, a partner consultancy company, completed its strategic planning consultancy work and then Stratec, through its consultants, began work to install the software to systematize this planning in the company.
Proof that Stratec's Strategic Management system can be applied in any location is the implementation of the software implementation project in all Labor Courts in Brazil. The software was adopted by the Labor Court after a bidding process. Cláudio Oliveira, strategic management advisor at the Superior Council of Labor Justice (CSJT), in an interview with Stratec, explained how the action around strategic planning involved all the Labor Courts in the country and how it has been developed since 2009. According to him , this procedure is part of the implementation of a new culture of public management, with transparency and results-oriented.
For the company to become a Stratec partner, there must be conceptual alignment between the consulting company and the software, warns Barbassa. “We value bringing the methodology closer to the software. And the partner's values have to reflect Stratec's values, because in most cases, the software will be delivered to the end customer, by the partner, so there has to be this alignment of values”, he highlights.
The director adds that Brazil will not be a limit for Stratec's business. According to Barbassa, 2013 will be the year of internationalization. The company already operates commercially in Canada and Colombia. “We are carrying out an initial test in these countries to adjust and continue the company’s internationalization process”, he reveals.
