La gesti\u00f3n tambi\u00e9n necesita modernizarse para seguir el ritmo del mercado.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El liderazgo de hoy necesita buscar alinearse con las nuevas generaciones y crear un ambiente m\u00e1s propicio para las innovaciones. Y como el desempe\u00f1o de los empleados est\u00e1 directamente vinculado a los objetivos estrat\u00e9gicos de la empresa, un asunto que no puede ser descuidado es la\u00a0<strong>gesti\u00f3n del desempe\u00f1o.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Es importante decir que no estamos hablando de una\u00a0<strong>evaluaci\u00f3n del desempe\u00f1o<\/strong>que no es lo mismo. Las evaluaciones, en realidad, forman parte de la gesti\u00f3n, que es un proceso de identificar, medir y desarrollar el desempe\u00f1o de los miembros del equipo, buscando la alineaci\u00f3n de su desempe\u00f1o con los objetivos estrat\u00e9gicos de la organizaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Para comprender mejor c\u00f3mo se debe hacer en el mundo actual, siga leyendo.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00bfPara qu\u00e9 sirve la gesti\u00f3n de desempe\u00f1o?<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">De manera resumida, podemos decir que el principal prop\u00f3sito de la gesti\u00f3n de desempe\u00f1o es mejorar el rendimiento general de la empresa a trav\u00e9s del rendimiento individual de cada colaborador<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Para medir el desempe\u00f1o de una organizaci\u00f3n, se pueden evaluar diferentes aspectos, por ejemplo, el financiero (ganancia y crecimiento), la satisfacci\u00f3n de los clientes, los procesos internos, la satisfacci\u00f3n de los empleados y su crecimiento (capacitaciones y entrenamientos).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Tradicionalmente, la gesti\u00f3n del desempe\u00f1o de los colaboradores sol\u00eda utilizar mecanismos de evaluaci\u00f3n que, en muchos casos, acababa no demostrando la realidad del d\u00eda a d\u00eda en la empresa.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El resultado obtenido, generalmente, era lo opuesto de lo esperado, pues por ser poco amplio, la gesti\u00f3n de desempe\u00f1o acababa por desmotivar a los funcionarios y aumentar su nivel de estr\u00e9s, adem\u00e1s de perjudicar el cumplimiento de plazos, gracias a su burocracia.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Finalmente, la clasificaci\u00f3n del desempe\u00f1o de los miembros del equipo era hecha por indicadores cuantitativos, lo que pas\u00f3 a significar personas cumpliendo objetivos impuestos sin que los resultados de sus trabajos fueran de hecho medidos.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00bfPor qu\u00e9 modernizar esa gesti\u00f3n?<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Muchas organizaciones ya identificaron la necesidad de modernizaci\u00f3n de la gesti\u00f3n de desempe\u00f1o, buscando actualizar su definici\u00f3n de ese concepto y volverse m\u00e1s responsivos a los intereses de los colaboradores y no s\u00f3lo del negocio.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Por otro lado, existen empresas que resisten la modernizaci\u00f3n de la forma de evaluar el desempe\u00f1o de su equipo, pues no saben exactamente c\u00f3mo compilar datos y utilizarlos en el desarrollo de estrategias.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El hecho es que el mercado actual, insertado en una sociedad del conocimiento, ve como un gran desaf\u00edo la necesidad de medir y mejorar el desempe\u00f1o en el contexto organizacional, gracias a su complejidad.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Los expertos dividen el desempe\u00f1o profesional en dos dimensiones:\u00a0<em>results\u00a0<\/em>y\u00a0<em>behaviors<\/em>, que significan resultados y comportamientos, siendo los resultados los que remiten a lo que un colaborador produce y el comportamiento a la forma como lo produce.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Hasta hace alg\u00fan tiempo, las estrategias para motivar a los empleados se resum\u00edan en salario, beneficios y promociones. Hoy, eso ya no garantiza la satisfacci\u00f3n en el trabajo y no siempre promueve compromiso.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Si antes el principal objetivo de los profesionales era estabilidad en el empleo, con los\u00a0<em>millenials\u00a0<\/em>en el mercado, este factor da lugar a nuevos anhelos y desaf\u00edos. Las empresas que han migrado a un sistema m\u00e1s din\u00e1mico y flexible demuestran que es posible percibir aumento en la satisfacci\u00f3n y el desarrollo de los trabajadores.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00bfC\u00f3mo hacer en la pr\u00e1ctica?<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El primer paso es entender cu\u00e1les son las expectativas de las nuevas generaciones para descubrir lo que puede ser capaz de mejorar su desempe\u00f1o. Los profesionales nacidos despu\u00e9s de los a\u00f1os 1980 tienden a tener mayor necesidad de independencia y confianza.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Adem\u00e1s, los empleados m\u00e1s j\u00f3venes buscan diferentes formas de remuneraci\u00f3n por su desempe\u00f1o y velan por la flexibilidad de sus horarios, donde el foco est\u00e1 m\u00e1s en la productividad que en el tiempo en que permanecen en la empresa.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Por \u00faltimo, vale decir que prefieren realizar actividades que les desaf\u00edan a buscar nuevas soluciones y esperan encontrar un sentido para los objetivos a alcanzar.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Dicho esto, es inevitable se\u00f1alar a la tecnolog\u00eda como el principal aliado de la gesti\u00f3n del rendimiento.
