The list is headed by Clayton Christensen, professor at Harvard Business School and one of the greatest experts in the area of \u200b\u200binnovation. Among the various works he has authored is the book \u201cThe Innovation Dilemma\u201d, published in 1997 and, as highlighted in the \u00c9poca Neg\u00f3cios article, considered the best book in the field that year.<\/p>\n
Second place in the ranking went to the authors of the bestseller \u201cBlue Ocean Strategy. How to create new markets and make competition irrelevant.\u201d As the report points out, W. Chan Kim & Ren\u00e9e Mauborgne are professors of strategy and management at INSEAD \u2013 The Business School for the World \u2013 and argue that the systematic study of actions is a necessity for corporations, as there are no companies and sectors excellent forever.<\/p>\n
The third position went to Vijay Govindarajan, professor of International Business at the Tuck School of Business. His classic works include \u201c10 rules for strategic innovations\u201d and \u201cThe other side of innovation\u201d. The thinker, also according to \u00c9poca Neg\u00f3cios, considers that innovation means breaking the routine and dealing with the unpredictable; which requires the ability to manage conflicts between operational and creative teams.<\/p>\n
The ranking, called \u201cThe Thinkers 50\u201d is carried out by the consultancy Crainer Dearlove, at two-year intervals, according to information contained in the article. In 2009, the first position was occupied by CK Prahalad, PhD from Harvard Business School and professor of strategy at the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. He is one of the authors of \u201cCompetindo pelo Futuro\u201d and died shortly after receiving the award.<\/p>\n
