In the \"Empreendedor\" blog, linked to the Exame portal, specialist Pedro Mello proposes a thought-provoking reflection for managers<\/a>. Do business plans need to be the same in cases of large and Small businesses<\/a>?<\/p>\n

The blogger highlights that the importance of executing a business plan is such a reinforced concept that, as an entrepreneur, he would worry and fear failure if he hadn't dedicated a lot of time to drafting the document. However, as Mello himself recalls, a three-decade career as Entrepreneur<\/a> And the analysis of over five thousand business plans led him to the conclusion he presents in his post: \u201cLong business plans full of information are completely dispensable for businesses that are starting out and require little capital.\u201d.<\/p>\n

Pedro Melo even highlights that this dense business plan format was designed for large companies after World War II. A period that, as the blogger reinforces, marked a true collapse of large companies and which made these plans an incentive for them to grow again.<\/p>\n

In the case of businesses requiring little investment, the suggestion, according to the Entrepreneur's Blog text, is to invest in a business plan that has three to five pages. \u201cEnough to state the purpose of the business, analyze competitors, define potential customers, and estimate the human and financial resources available to start,\u201d advises Pedro Mello.<\/p>\n
